I had the same issue when I first tested my game on the HTC Diamond as I hand previously only tested on an N95 and only thought about tabbing and the tab index.

I had to add onRelease functions to all the elements on the screen so they worked on a touch screen.
For the soft keys I created dummy buttons in the position of the labels with onRelease functions so that they could also be pressed. I also had to manage the release functions for the soft keys so they did different things for the different states of the game.

For testing I mostly used Device Central CS4, it has most of the phones and works quite well until you get crazy unhelpful errors that crash it. Nothing beats testing it on the real device tho.

Hope that helps, if not I can strip down my app to a basic demo when I get some time.

I've been trying to re-version my Flash Lite builds for Windows Mobile but the touch interface I implemented for the Nokia 5800 doesn't work on HTC Diamond, neither do the soft keys. What's the story? Is there an online resource for developing for WM?
